Lunar Falls

David Fischer I purchased Lunar Falls without hearing a second of it, assuming some kind of folk, maybe even reminiscient of Heilung. The latter it is not, but atmospheric and yet dark folk it is indeed! Beautifully fragile, peaceful and pristine, these 44 minutes should be enjoyed as a whole, resulting in a seamless and undeniably calming listening experience. If you're in any way prone to folk, there is nothing left to be desired here. Take a break from the rush that everyday life is, and breathe. Stunning. Favorite track: Drogue (featuring Skyggefigurrer.

Felippe Barbeito I've lost count of how many times I've listened to this album on repeat on Spotify. Now I can listen to it in pure FLAC glory. Can't wait for the follow-up album. Cheers from Brazil! 😉 Favorite track: Solus Ipse.

The Elm 03:30
In solitude we walk shrouded in our dreams Into the mists of night, spirits left unseen Dear anguish redeem me with your gentle kiss And lay this sadness into the abyss I wish I wish but its all in vain Wish we were free again To find the place under the elm, where our shadows they still realm Through the vastness, and on the other side We leave our masks there, no longer we do hide Oppose the light and gather, all of our storms Shoot down the sun, wearing your crown of thorns.
4.
Aphasia 04:40
Nightfalls Summoning Breathless sky dissolving Emerge Becoming All for naught your suffering Lullaby Mesmerise Labyrinth Wyverns cry Firelight, glowing, Hadean eyes, All knowing Emerge Becoming All for naught your suffering In this black sea of trees shadows rise Drifting moon see it through And touch the mist of the morning Oneiro
5.
Three Rivers 05:30
By the river I dwell, where the water whispers Lost lullabies, sighing deep inside Solstafir, imbibe and drown me To re-appear, blazing white light ecstasy Ricochet of stars, you appear before me Face in my hands, as you weep my name Time grows short, we are almost there Beyond all help, as we dance into the void Come into this night, atone in the eclipse What does it matter now? As we fall inside, and watch shadows die Three Rivers will be our guide.

Catacombs 04:34
Borne of autumn storms and stars to come so far Seeking comfort in the dream behind your eyes Sacrifice stars to die to survive You are safe now beloved In the mist now we await In the rivers of grief we were drowning By the rich of the dark we will awake Breathe your air, eye to eye, we lie Sage and Seers coming home Drifting back to the catacombs
8.
Nazaré 05:12
Lay your bones amid the hollows Melt your marrow on the shore Carry On, Drown The Sun Runner Lay your words through solemn forests Flood your fears through the fog Carry On, Drown The Sun Runner These days beneath me, fall like greatest days Now let me through, this ocean of sorrow To the Nazaré
9.
Fall between the trees, starless Eternal eidolons drifting dreamless Are we the undeserved We are embracing hallowed darkness Summoning up our storms We are blackened incarnations Of the void we know so well Of the maledictions that befell us Before we ever came into the light Bonded by the void we are
10.
Through the fog shadow skies Silence in the rise The cold came wild silence This necropolis Morning Star resplendent The time has come Candlekeep, all aflame Rebirth in the flight All through the night Vestige of Light Will remain Elegy Luminous Under starry crowns These tears serve me not This ellipsis Star of Lethe come for me Purify these embers Candlekeep all aflame Amphora of the restless This knowing it came rolling Before we could ever speak Unto a silent sky we watch The bludgeoning of our dreams All but light will fall And last unto the end Resting on our sovran shrines Hidden evergreen.
